The SeriousWindows Heavy Commercial series was engineered with an advanced fiberglass framing system that greatly reduce air leakage losses, heat gain, and heat loss. Fiberglass is the best insulating fenestration material available on the market. With an extremely low conductivity rate of 0.17 (BTU/h-ft-F), fiberglass’ thermal conductivity is 800x less than aluminum, making it the optimum material for super insulating windows. When combined with equally high-performance insulating glass, SeriousWindows Heavy Commercial series provide some of the highest thermal ratings of any available commercial product.

The SeriousWindows Heavy Commercial series combines high performance insulated glass units with advanced fiberglass frames as part of an end to end, energy saving, window solution.  Combining internally mounted, suspended film with low-e glass creates a lightweight, multi-chambered insulating glass unit that reflects heat and harmful UV radiation while maximizing light transmission, and providing superior full frame insulation performance ranging from R-3 to R-7.
